  • The biggest compliance challenges that CCPA poses;
  • The sea change that CCPA represents in terms of privacy and its impact on cybersecurity;
  • Why so many countries - and U.S. states - are closely tracking what's happening in California.

Fennessy is the research director of the IAPP, as well as a senior privacy fellow. Previously, she served as director of Privacy Shield for the U.S. International Trade Administration, after working on the ITA's data flows and privacy team.

Shelton Leipzig is a partner in the Privacy & Data Security group of Perkins Coie, and global co-chair of the firm's Ad Tech Privacy and Data Management practice.
