In a video interview at Information Security Media Group's recent 2015 San Francisco Healthcare Information Security Summit, he discusses:

  • The "attack surface" of most healthcare organizations that enables hackers to gain entry;
  • The authentication challenges that most healthcare organizations face; and
  • The need for interconnecting systems, particularly those that support legacy backend hardware.

As managing director at Coalfire Labs, Weber focuses on security services that address emerging technologies, including evaluation and testing of enterprise-level security programs, mobile solutions and embedded devices; digital forensics and incident response services; and application threat monitoring. Before joining Coalfire in 2011, Weber worked for Critigen as the director of security services and managed a team of information security analysts and consultants performing assessment and consultation services for clients worldwide. He also worked on professional service engagements at CH2M HILL, including serving as deputy CISO for the State of Colorado and director of cybersecurity at Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site.
