Pierson is CEO of Binary Sun Cyber Risk Advisors as well as a special government employee on the Department of Homeland Security Data Privacy & Integrity Advisory Committee (Policy Chair) and Cybersecurity Subcommittee. He previously served as chief security officer of Viewpost - for which he remains a board member - and was the first chief privacy officer for Royal Bank of Scotland Group.
