After a career in law enforcement at the local, state and federal levels, Shape Security's Dan Woods has learned a lot about fraud and fraudsters. He offers insight on how to get to know attackers and put that knowledge to work.

Before joining Shape Security, where he serves as vice president of attack forensics, Woods served as assistant chief agent of special investigations at the Arizona attorney general's office, where he investigated complex fraud. Prior to that, he spent 20 years with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies and intelligence organizations, including the FBI, where he specialized in information operations and cybercrime.
