ISC2 Survey: How Is AI Reshaping Cybersecurity?
Key Findings From ISC2 on How AI Is Affecting Cybersecurity ProfessionalsAccording to a new survey from ISC2, the nonprofit member organization that promotes cybersecurity education, 82% of cybersecurity professionals say AI will improve their job efficiency by helping them conduct analysis, automate tasks, perform monitoring, predict vulnerabilities and block threats.

Findings from a survey of more than 1,100 cyber professionals include their feelings about how AI has affected cybersecurity and their jobs and what they're looking for in AI regulations.
Remarkably, only 27% of organizations have established formal policies concerning the safe and ethical use of AI, underscoring the need for greater attention to ethical considerations and regulatory frameworks in the deployment of AI technologies within cybersecurity contexts.
Clar Rosso, CEO of ISC2, stressed the importance of taking concrete steps, such as providing AI governance for application development and intellectual property safeguards. "My advice, really, to business leaders would be: Start somewhere," she said.
