Mike Lopez, vice president and general manager, Total Fraud Protection, AppGate

A key disconnect exists between awareness of financial services fraud schemes and mitigation, according to the latest "Faces of Fraud" survey sponsored by Appgate. Mike Lopez, a vice president at the firm, describes key findings.

In a video interview with Information Security Media Group at RSA 2020, Lopez also discusses:

  • Why financial institutions are failing to connect the dots between fraud scheme awareness and mitigation;
  • The persistent lack of visibility into fraud in the mobile channel;
  • Why orchestration and intelligence sharing need to be a focus in 2020.

Lopez is vice president and general manager of Total Fraud Protection at AppGate. His responsibilities include overseeing delivery and fulfillment; customer support; research and development; and product management.
