FS-ISAC's Christophe Barel on the Importance of a Robust Incident Response Plan
The basic foundation of designing a reliable and dynamic cyber resilience program is to have a detailed incident response plan that can take into account different cyberthreat scenarios and outcomes, says Singapore-based Christophe Barel, who is managing director for Asia-Pacific at FS-ISAC.

He says it is also important to "test the plan often through exercises and simulations" and to "plug the gaps and then test again."
In a video interview with Information Security Media Group, Barel also discusses:

Prior to joining FS-ISAC, Barel was managing director at data and intelligence provider Acuris Group, where he set up the risk and compliance business for APAC, focusing on AML/KYC screening, cybersecurity and enhanced due diligence.
