“Data analytics and dashboards help compliance teams to look at data and understand if the current compliance program is actually working for them,” he says. If your data is in different places, it is very hard to convince regulators that you truly have a thorough compliance program.”

In a video interview with Information Security Media Group, Turteltaub discusses:

  • Why compliance teams must leverage data analytics;
  • Priorities for training, responsiveness and evaluating suppliers;
  • Areas of innovation in 2021.

Turteltaub is chief engagement and strategy officer at Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics and the Health Care Compliance Association. Previously, he was corporate relations executive for LRN, a compliance solutions provider.
