In a video interview at RSA Conference 2018, Yepez discusses:

  • His new firm;
  • The highs and lows of the current market;
  • The emerging technologies about which he's most bullish.

In 2015, Yepez co-founded Trident Capital Cybersecurity, a venture capital fund investing exclusively in cybersecurity companies that's now known as ForgePoint Capital. He joined Trident Capital as a venture partner in 2008 to assist with cybersecurity investments. After the close of Trident Capital Fund 7 in 2010, he was promoted to managing director to continue to build the cybersecurity franchise. He led the investments in Solera Networks, AlienVault, BlueCat Networks and Mocana. In addition, he started working with Trident's Cybersecurity portfolio companies and joined the boards of Mojo Networks, HyTrust, Neohapsis (acquired by Cisco) and Qualys.
